budget is around $2000 do you think is possible?

Hi,

I am not sure of the latest prices but you could go down to the installer and give them your budget and ask them to recommend what is the best combination for such a budget based on your requirements. I am sure most of the installers are willing to help.

Preferred Tuner at CS

Hi guys, thanks to a bro here. I just upgraded my HU at CS at TG. Because it was just before CNY, the tuning job was quite rush and I had to make another appt. I was initially quite disappointed with the RTA and tuning. Because they did not check the setting on my amps and just did the time alignment. At higher volumes, distortion can be heard and these are my usual listening vol. I was also curious why they did not test the sound with a variety of music in order to gauge the SQ as some installers would. Ah Hock was there but the tuning was done by one of the worker & this made me a little worried.
My setup was transferred from my previous car so I know what it is capable of, the tuning job definitely did not do justice to my setup. I gave them the benefit of doubt due to CNY.
Ah Hock promised to help me look into my tuning so I'm just curious if he is ok or should I try to get someone else at another CS branch to do it for me.
Another qn I have is that if my setup already has a Alpine H701 processor, should the EQ in the HU be used? I had the impression that the processor will take care of the EQ as well.
Sorry for the long story and questions...i really don't like to make many rounds to settle one problem. Thanks in advance for the help guys!

Somehow or rather I prefer Ah Hua tuning from TG Ms Chan will not anyhow ask any of the worker to tune for you one. Ah Hua or Ah Hock only. Don't worry, go another round tuning, sure will be better.

Thanks bro. I have already requested Hock to re-tune my set-up. Hopefully, it will be better after that. :)

Went down to CS serangoon to install the 701 Combo after realizing i've been conned by another audio shop that I can run 3-way without the processor. Guys!!! They were using my midbass as a subwoofer!!! Well, Ah Kuang did a good and fast job rectifying the screaming in my car. Good place to go...

Ask Kuang to do a proper tuning for you and you see his power
